FAQ
Questions we are asked most
If your question is not here, WhatsApp us — the answer usually takes one message.
- How far ahead do I need to book?
- The online form takes bookings from 3 days ahead, and up to 180 days ahead. That floor exists because each day's schedule is set in advance so every delivery has a slot, and the form cannot check that for you. Sooner than 3 days is genuinely available though — call or WhatsApp us, and we will look at the day and confirm it by hand.
- Do you deliver on Sundays and public holidays?
- Yes. We deliver and collect every day of the year, Sundays and gazetted public holidays included. Renovation work and tenancies do not stop for the calendar, so neither do we. Choose the date you want when you book and tell us if the site has restricted hours.
- How long can I keep the bin?
- Each bin includes a set number of rental days, and you choose the collection date when you book. If you need it longer, an extra-day rate applies — tell us before the collection date rather than after, and we will move it. If you do not yet know when you will finish, book the delivery and mark the collection as flexible.
- Where can the bin be placed?
- Anywhere on private property with enough room for the bin and clear access for the lorry that delivers it: a driveway, a car park lot, a loading bay, a yard. Tell us on the booking where you want it and what the access is like. If the only place is a public road, say so when you book — that is a separate question and we will walk you through it.
- Which bin size do I need?
- Match the bin to the job, then check the weight. Furniture, packaging and general clear-out waste are light and fill the space first. Tiles, concrete, brick and soil are heavy and hit the weight cap while the bin still looks half full. If you are unsure, send a photo on WhatsApp — we will tell you which bin to take, including when the smaller one is enough.
- What does it cost?
- The price depends on the bin size, what the waste is, how long you keep it, and whether you need an overnight, Sunday or public holiday slot. Send us the job and the dates and we come back with a fixed price for exactly that — it does not change after the bin is delivered.
- How do I pay?
- You will be able to pay by PayNow once your booking is confirmed, and we will send the payment details with your confirmation. Nothing is taken automatically and there is no card on file. If you would rather arrange payment another way, tell us when you book.
- What can I not put in the bin?
- Hazardous waste, asbestos, chemicals, paint, batteries, gas cylinders, medical waste and loose liquids all need a licensed route rather than a skip bin. Do not put them in — contact us first and we will tell you what the job needs. Everything else from a home, office or renovation is usually fine, and you do not need to sort it.
Still not sure?
Ask us. We would rather spend a minute on a question than have a bin turn up that does not suit the job.
